Tim Gallagher, Director
gallagher Certified Public School music teacher, Bachelor of Music Education from the Crane School of Music, Master of Education from Elmira College, member of the 1990 Cadets of Bergen County Drum & Bugle Corps (DCI Champions). Teaching experience with Spectrum Drum & Bugle Corps, Odessa-Montour HS, Horseheads HS, Trumansburg Colorguards, Campbell-Savona Colorguards, Marcus Whitman HS, Bradford HS, Goshen MS and many others. Driving philosophy: Music is for everyone!


Amanda Shutters, Instructor
Certified Music Teacher in the Allentown Public schools with a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in Music Education. She has taught several local high school bands and guards and looks to continue developing student skills in Allentown through this fun ensemble. Miss Shutters is also fluent in Spanish!


Tara-Lee Bryant, Colorguard Instructor
A Graduate of the Peck School of Arts in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Tara has been dancing and spinning since age 9. As a member of the World Champion Phantom Regiment Drum & Bugle Corps Tara quickly became a leader and an example of the best in the activity. She has also performed with Fantasia Winterguard from Riverside, California as well as many dance groups through the years. Tara currently resides in Bethlehem and promotes youth development through positive marching activities.


Melissa Babalonis, Colorguard Instructor
Currently working in Allentown at YEA! for The Cadets Drum & Bugle Corps, Melissa oversees the Urban Arts Center and the many activities going on each week. A Cadets colorguard alum, Melissa has also been a cast member with the Broadway show BLAST! and has been teaching colorguard since 1995. She has taught world class groups like Carolina Crown and Capital Regiment as well as many local groups in Eastern and Western PA. Melissa looks forward to passing on her excitement for colorguard through the Lehigh Valley Youth Drumline.


John Keegan, Instructor
keeganWith more than 30 years in the activity John brings experience from performing with the best in the activity (1984 & 1985 DCI World Champion Garfield Cadets) as well as the neighborhood corps he started in. John has taught several drum corps including the Lehigh Valley Knights and Spectrum Drum & Bugle Corps and several high school and middle school groups through the years. John’s goal is to help kids find a place to call their own through drum corps and drumline.


Eileen Kutzler, Instructor
kutzler Bachelor of Science-York College of PA. Member of the Bridgemen Alumni Drum & Bugle Corps, Bayonne NJ 2007 to present (pit ensemble and baritone); former member of the West Chester University Golden Rams Marching Band and Liberty H.S. Grenadier Band. Driving philosophy -- have fun with music and marching!



Robert Stocklas, Instructor
stocklas Robert has been a member of Nazareth Area HS Drumline, The Chieftans, Skyliners Sr. Drum & Bugle Corps, Blue Eagle Alumni Corps, Nazareth Alumni Band 01-09. Teaching Experiences include Oceanside HS California, Lehighton HS, Freedom HS, Liberty. Also an experienced percussion arranger for marching bands in the area and taught the Lehigh Valley Knights Drum & Bugle Corps. Robert believes that music is FUN!


Tyler Brown, Instructor
glasses University of Pittsburgh graduate in Information Sciences with a minor in Music. Tyler is a Marching Percussion Specialist, Clinician and Arranger with experience marching with the World Champion Madison Scouts Drum & Bugle Corps as well as the Royal Crusader Drumline and the University of Pittsburgh Marching Band. Tyler has taught MANY local groups and is currently the Assistant Director and Percussion Captionhead for the Phillipsburg HS Marching Band in Phillipsburg, NJ. Tyler is part of the Vic Firth Educator’s Program as well.


James Lewis, Instructor
noglasses With a bachelor’s in marketing and an associates degree in music education, James can see many sides of the drumline experience. He has seven years of teaching experience with local high schools and drumlines including Parkland HS, Pleasant Valley HS, Lake Lehman HS, Northwestern HS and currently at Easton HS. James is part of the Vic Firth education team and a member of the Percussive Arts Society. He says he looks forward to giving back to the kids of the Lehigh Valley.
