Cadets2 'Launch' Their 2012 Competitive Schedule
8 DCA & DCI Performances Highlight the Corps Inaugural Season
The inaugural competitive season of Cadets2 comes into view with the announcement of the corps season schedule which will include 8 competitive and exhibition performances at the most significant drum corps events set for the East Coast from July through Labor Day
The corps is still actively recruiting for the final few brass slots, as well as flag positions, but once prospective members see this action packed summer, they will want to be a part of it!
Cadets2 take the field in competition for the very first time in their history at the DCA event scheduled for Clifton Stadium in Clifton, N.J. on Saturday, July 14. The following two weeks have the corps getting into the competitive flow with back-to-back events in Downingtown, Pa. on Saturday, July 21 and Hornell, N.Y. on Saturday, July 28.
Cadets2 members will have an exceptional experience during the weekend of August 4 and 5, as the corps has the unique experience to take the field at the two largest drum corps events on the East coast summer calendar with special pre-show performances at the DCI Eastern Classic at J. Birney Crum Stadium in Allentown on Saturday and the Tour of Champions Grand Finale at MetLife Stadium in E. Rutherford, N.J. on Sunday. The DCI East lineup for Saturday includes The Cadets, The Cavaliers, Santa Clara Vanguard, Madison Scouts and seven other corps. Tickets are available here for the DCI Eastern Classic

After a week off on August 11, Cadets2 return to the field of competition for the push to the DCA World Championships with a performance in Scranton, Pa. on Saturday, Aug. 18, followed by a performance in Pennsauken, N.J. the following week on Sunday, Aug. 26 as the DCA regular season comes to an end.
The corps moves on to the DCA World Championships in Annapolis, Md. at the Navy & Marine Corps Stadium on the campus of the United States Naval Academy for Labor Day Weekend with Preliminaries scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 1 and should the corps advance to the World Championship Finals, a performance on Sunday, Sept. 2.
