Voting for the 2009 Class of the Cadets Hall of Fame closes at Midnight tonight!

Members of the Cadets Alumni Association have until Midnight on June 30th to cast their ballots to select the 2009 Class of the Cadets Hall of Fame. 

Letters of nomination and support are posted for review on the Cadets Hall of Fame page. The nominees are:

Albert Mura - Founding member, instructor, 1934-1954 

Greg Cinzio - Member 1966-1977, instructor, historian and author 

Barbara Maroney - Member 1981-1984, instructor 

George Lucas - Long-time volunteer  

The 1980 Garfield Cadets  

Bill and Pat Croissant - Long time volunteers 

John Bognatz - Long time volunteer  

Gino Cipriani - Current Brass Caption Supervisor 

1969 Colorguard - First females admitted to the corps 

John Tokar - Member 1962-1971, instructor, drill writer, administration 

Paul DeLiberto - Member 1969-1976, instructor, volunteer  

Ed Frenzel - Director 1973-1976 

John Baumfalk - Founding member 1934-1940, instructor  

To vote for the Cadets Hall of Fame, you must be registered and logged into your profile. Register and log in by CLICKING HERE.  

More than 60 letters of nomination and support were received by the Hall of Fame Committee during the nomination process held from March 1st to April 30th. The nominees were reviewed by the Committee with those qualified were placed on the official ballot provided to the Electors for voting. Electors are registered members of the Cadets Alumni Association. 

Announcement of the inductees of the 2009 Class will be made during a Cadets-hosted Music In Motion Drum Corps Show on July 6th at Jackson Liberty High School in Jackson, N.J. They will be inducted into the Hall on Aug. 1 during the Cadets Summer Diamond Bash at the Montclair State University Conference Center in Montclair, N.J. 

The Cadets Hall of Fame began with the Class of 1984 induction of honorees and is now the highest honor for 28 individuals who have left a mark in the Cadets legacy.
